BusinessObjects User Group SIG (BOUG)
21.02.2012 - 21.02.2012, One Great George Street, London
The UK & Ireland SAP User Group is an independent ‘not for profit’ organisation set up to serve the needs of all SAP users, which now includes all SAP BusinessObjects customers, taking any member issues and concerns directly to SAP UK as well as providing members with a forum to share knowledge, best practice and expertise with industry peers.

The Provisional Agenda includes:
- Richard Neale from SAP will discuss SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.0 Feature pack 3. SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.0 FP3 delivers new capabilities organised around 4 major themes: Richer insight, mobility, social, and deep integration. In this session, we will take a look at all of the new capabilities and demonstrate some of the key new features that end users can look forward to.
- Andrew de Rozairo from Sybase will present Big data - How to handle the growth of data, users and complexity without breaking the bank. Big data presents big opportunities for those who understand how to store, analyse and act on these huge volumes of data. The big challenge is how to do this without the big budget.
This session will look at:
key drivers around big data - data volumes, growing numbers of users, variety of data types, velocity of data acquisition and query response requirements, different technology approaches that are being taken out in the industry, including complex event processing, MPP (massively parallel processing), Hadoop & MapReduce, and statistical data-mining and finally present a pragmatic approach to addressing some of these issues with SAP's newly acquired portfolio of technologies from Sybase.
- Neil Greathead from SAP will be giving a Customer Experience with SAP Support . In this session Neil Greathead, Director Customer Experience - SAP Support, will explain the program he leads, the opportunity for any SAP Customer to engage, and what specific items/concerns/areas of focus came out of the recent Survey conducted by the SAP UK&I User Group.
SAP will present Analytical Apps. Session to be confirmed.
