itelligence AG announces excellent Q3 2008 and continuing positive business performance

• EBIT climbs 24.4% to MEUR 9.7 in nine months
• Net profit in accordance with IFRSs soars 50% during first nine months to MEUR 6.9
• Orders on hand increase by 27.1% to MEUR 154.8
• Forecast for fiscal year 2008 confirmed

Bielefeld (Germany), October 29, 2008 - itelligence AG, one of the leading international full-service IT providers for SAP, continued its positive performance and the current year’s growth trend to date again in Q3. itelligence lifted its revenues in the first nine months by 13.4% to MEUR 154.1 (same period of the previous year: MEUR 135.9). In Q3, itelligence AG generated revenues of MEUR 52.3 and thus an increase of 10.4% year-on-year (Q3 2007: MEUR 47.4).

Herbert Vogel, CEO of itelligence AG, remains extremely satisfied with this performance: “So far, the fiscal year has been positive, as expected. Our sound business in Germany and Western Europe gives us reason to be optimistic and we are still looking for new employees for long-term projects.”

A look at revenues performance shows that itelligence AG improved in all business areas: Consulting revenues rose from MEUR 83.0 to MEUR 88.1, Licenses revenues surged from MEUR 12.9 to MEUR 20.7 and revenues in Outsourcing & Services increased from MEUR 39.8 to MEUR 45.1.

Within the segments, itelligence again generated the highest revenues growth in Germany/Austria at 22.6%, pushing the figure up to MEUR 80.6 (previous year period: MEUR 65.8). Revenues climbed 14.2% in the Western Europe segment and 19.2% in Eastern Europe. At MEUR 33.3 (previous year: MEUR 35.3), revenues in the USA had fallen by -5.7% by the end of Q3 2008. After adjustment for currency translation effects, the USA segment would have contributed +6.7% to the revenues growth.

In the first nine months, earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) increased 24.4% year-on-year to MEUR 9.7 (first nine months of 2007: MEUR 7.8). This resulted in an EBIT margin of 6.3% for the first nine months (previous year: 5.7%). EBIT in Q3 2008 totaled MEUR 3.8, up 26.7% year-on-year. During this period, the EBIT margin climbed from 6.3% to 7.3% in Q3 2008.

Net profit for the period in accordance with IFRSs amounted to MEUR 6.9 after the first nine months – an increase of 50% from MEUR 4.6 in the same period of the previous year. Earnings per share jumped from EUR 0.20 to the current figure of EUR 0.29 per share.

Norbert Rotter, CFO of itelligence AG, said: “We increased our orders on hand by 27.1% to MEUR 154.8 by the end of the quarter. Orders thus remain at a high level compared with the previous year. We currently expect to achieve the revenue and earnings targets announced for the full year.”

Looking at the performance of the fiscal year, the Management Board reaffirms its revenues and earnings forecast for fiscal year 2008 and continues to expect that itelligence will achieve revenues of between MEUR 210 and MEUR 214 (revenues 2007: MEUR 190.9) for the whole of 2008. The EBIT margin for the current fiscal year is set to be between 6.2% and 6.4% (EBIT margin 2007: 6.0%).

itelligence AG, the successful full-service IT provider for SAP, has acquired a 51% share in the Czech SAP consulting house, SAPCON. itelligence can acquire the remaining 49% of the shares in  SAPCON via call options over the coming years. NTT DATA EUROPE secures 87 percent of itelligence’s share capital
Tokyo/Japan and Bielefeld/Germany – 8 January 2008. Pursuant to the offer document published by NTT DATA Europe on 13 November 2007, acceptances by shareholders representing about 87 percent of itelligence AG’s outstanding share capital have been secured. 72 percent of itelligence shares were tendered during the initial acceptance period, which ended on 13 December 2007.

NTT DATA EUROPE offer for itelligence successful
At expiration of the acceptance period of the voluntary public takeover offer for itelligence AG, NTT DATA EUROPE, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Japanese IT company NTT DATA CORPORATION, now has 89 percent of the shares of the Bielefeld based SAP services provider at its disposal. Almost 76 percent of the shares were tendered during the acceptance period that ended at midnight of 13 December 2007.

Preliminary figures for the financial year 2005
itelligence AG, leading international full IT service provider in the SAP environment, announced its preliminary Group figures for the fourth quarter and the financial year 2005. In the fourth quarter of 2005, revenues amounted to EUR 40.4 million (Q4 2004: EUR 35.2 million). This is equivalent to a rise in revenues of 14.8%. For 2005 as a whole, itelligence achieved revenues of EUR 139.1 million compared to EUR 131.0 million the previous year – an increase of 6.1%. With this, itelligence clearly exceeded forecast revenue growth.
