SAP on the iPhone
itelligence will be presenting the direct integration of SAP applications on Apple's iPhone at CeBIT 2010. The innovation: unlimited mobile access to SAP data from SAP Business All-in-One on the iPhone through the new adapter from itelligence.
In addition to a new CRM application for contact and schedule management by field service staff, itelligence will be showing an example from the SAP Human Resource Management (HRM) environment. One sample application is for requesting vacation days, including an authorization path which can also be used with iPhone apps in the business environment. The combination of the itelligence PI Adapter with the iBiz technology of the IT consulting firm Dr. Maison & Partner (www.maison-partner.de) guarantees quick and efficient integration of the different worlds.
SAP Business All-in-One on the iPhone supports the midmarket through its flexibility. This technology can be used in all SAP scenarios and can be implemented quickly, since these applications, in contrast to customary iPhone apps, obtain the data directly from the database. The advantages are the timeliness of data and offline capability.
