Herbert Vogel

Herbert Vogel received his degree in engineering in Paderborn in 1975 and in computer science in Berlin in 1978. Herbert Vogel began his professional career as an EDP organization expert at Blaupunkt in 1978. He left in 1980 to become project director at Bertelsmann, then moved to Mohndruck three years later, where he became head of the department for purchasing/logistics in 1985.
Herbert Vogel was active as a free-lance corporate consultant beginning in 1987.
On 21 June, 1989, Wolfgang Schmidt and Herbert Vogel founded the company S&P Consult. From the establishment of the company, Herbert Vogel was the managing director or member of the Board of Management, and from March 1999 he was spokesperson for the Board of Management of SVC AG and, following the merger, spokesman for the Board of Management of itelligence AG. He has been CEO of itelligence AG since January 2001.
