
Revenue growth in the first half of the year was particularly strong in the Germany/Austria segment, where revenues rose by 31.7% to MEUR 41.9 (H1 2006: MEUR 31.8). Revenues increased by 9.3% in the Americas segment (after adjustment for currency translation effects: +18.1%) to MEUR 23.4 (H1 2006: MEUR 21.5), by 3.4% in the Western Europe segment (after adjustment for currency translation effects: +5.4%) to MEUR 14.5 (H1 2006: MEUR 14.1), and by 9.9% in the Eastern Europe segment (after adjustment for currency translation effects: +7.7%) to MEUR 7.0 (H1 2006: MEUR 6.3). Consulting revenues developed particularly strongly, rising by 22.1% to MEUR 54.1 in the first six months of the year (H1 2006: MEUR 44.3). Revenues in the Outsourcing & Services area improved by 15.8% to MEUR 26.2 (H1 2006: MEUR 22.6), while the Licenses area recorded revenue growth of 5.2% to MEUR 8.0 (H1 2006: MEUR 7.6). itelligence AG also improved its earnings figures for the quarter and the year to date. In the second quarter, itelligence more than doubled its EBIT from MEUR 1.0 to MEUR 2.2, resulting in an EBIT margin of 4.9% (Q2 2006: 2.7%). EBIT for the first half of 2007 amounted to MEUR 4.8, up MEUR 3.0 on the prior-period figure of MEUR 1.8. This resulted in an EBIT margin of 5.4%, compared with 2.4% after the first half of 2006. Net profit for the period in accordance with IFRSs increased by MEUR 1.8 to MEUR 2.8 in the first six months of 2007 (H1 2006: MEUR 1.0).
Based on its continued strong performance and solid orders on hand, itelligence is increasing its revenue forecasts for fiscal year 2007 as a whole and setting its earnings targets in more specific terms. The Company is now projecting revenues of between MEUR 180 and 190 (revenues in 2006: MEUR 163.8) and EBIT of between MEUR 10 and 12 (EBIT in 2006: MEUR 7.1).
